Mr S, a private householder living in Hadleigh, Suffolk contacted us to install a solar thermal system. Seager Home Solutions chose a very reliable system called the SolarfloTM which are on-roof panels and made by the manufacturer Baxi. This is a great solution when adding to existing rather than brand new properties.
In addition, we also installed a Heatrae Sadia thermal hot water storage vessel. The overall solutions collects free energy from the sun to heat solar panels on the roof and turns this into renewable energy via the thermal heat to provide hot water for the home. The system is quick and easy to install, and can produce up to 90% of the energy required to heat domestic hot water in summer months and up to around 55% annually.
The thermal panels were mounted neatly in the corner of the roof so that the client has additional roof space to add a solar PV system which is the next phase of work. The work was completed within one day and up and running by the time the client returned from work.
